می‌کند. در هر دو روش درمانی، هدف این است كه بیمار رفتار انحرافی را با
چیز منفی تهوع‌آور همراه کند مثلا تجسم‌های فتیش را با بوی بد مرتبط سازند.
روانشناسان اجتماعی معتقدند که این افراد به دلیل محروم بودن از ارتباطات اجتماعی و انزوای شدید در کودکی، از طریق روش‌های کمتر
قابل قبول اجتماعی به دنبال رضایت
جنسی هستند.
