keeks 3005 – Slutting Myself Out for a Promotion

Today is the last day of my internship. I have spent the last 10 weeks going above and beyond what has been needed. I have made an impressive performance by exceeding my supervisors expectations, and proving myself as valuable to the company. There have been hints that I will be offered a full time job, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. It’s been my dream to work here. I even get a little dolled up, wearing my favorite little skirt for the meeting I am about to have with you. I walk into your office so happy and excited, I can’t even hide my bubbly personality. I sit across from you ready to accept the position. You tell me how amazing it’s been to have me, and what a wonderful job I have done. You wish me the best of luck on my future career…. I am confused, I thought I would be accepting a job offer. I explain to you that it’s my dream to work here for you, and I don’t really understand what’s happening. I tell you that I am willing to do anything, I even wear little skirts for you because I know that you like that kind of business outfit look. Unfortunately you have decided to go with my co-worker for the position. I am shocked and don’t believe it. I do the majority of her work why should she get the position.
